Itinerary

Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be transferred to your hotel. After settling in, take some time to relax and unwind, preparing for the exciting journey ahead. Stay overnight at the hotel in Delhi.

Start your day with a sightseeing tour of Delhi, beginning with visits to Raj Ghat, the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi, and Shanti Vana, where Jawaharlal Nehru was cremated.

Continue to Jama Masjid, one of India’s largest mosques, and drive past the historic Red Fort and the bustling Chandni Chowk.

In the afternoon, explore more of Delhi’s iconic landmarks. Visit the Qutub Minar, built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199, and the magnificent Humayun's Tomb. Stop at India Gate, the War Memorial Arch, and the Lakshminarayan Temple, a modern Hindu temple.

Drive past key government buildings, including the President's House, Parliament House, and the Government Secretariat, and explore the vibrant Connaught Place shopping area. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, drive to Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and take some time to rest. The evening is free for exploring the local markets and enjoying some shopping.

Begin your day with a visit to the iconic landmark of the Taj Mahal. The morning lights are perfect to capture the best shots of this architectural marvel. Next, explore the historic Agra Fort, originally built as a military stronghold by Emperor Akbar in 1565 and later partially converted into a palace during Shah Jahan’s reign. Its red sandstone walls and impressive architecture make it one of India’s most important heritage sites.

In the afternoon, visit Itmad-ud-Daulah, the tomb of Ghias-ud-Din Beg, father of Empress Nur Jahan. Constructed between 1622 and 1628 in white marble, it is often called the “Baby Taj” for its resemblance to the Taj Mahal. After a day of exploring these iconic sites, return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Depart for the railway station to catch a train to Jhansi. Upon arrival, drive to Khajuraho with a stopover at the historic town of Orchha. Once the stronghold of the Bundela dynasty, who left behind magnificent palaces, temples, and cenotaphs that reflect their rich heritage, Orchha is a hidden gem.
